Nocona’s Davis signs to MSU

Nocona’s Sam Davis signed his letter of intent to play football at Midwestern State University on Friday.
The graduating Indian spent four years on the varsity team playing tight end and defensive end.
The six-foot-six inch Davis used his height to its advantage whether it came to getting leverage in the trenches, catching passes over shorter players and blocking kicks on special teams.
Davis was second team all-district at both positions his senior year. He also spent three years playing on the varsity basketball team, earning second team all-district honors as a senior as well.
