Bowie boys golf finishes third

The Bowie boy’s golf team battled two days at the Abilene High Invitational at the Hideout Golf Club and Resort last week.
The Jackrabbits finished in third place in a tough field and just two shots behind second place.
Cy Egenbacher led the team overall. He shot an 80 the first day and 76 the second day which tied him for second individually. Unfortunately, he lost the scorecard playoff and finished in third place.
The rest of the Bowie team was not far off. Zac Harris shot 88-85, Andrew Sandhoff shot 88-89 in his first tournament of the season fresh from the basketball court, Hunter Fluitt shot 90-89 and Hunter Lea shot 95-85.
