Bowie girls basketball lose first game at Paradise

The Bowie Lady Rabbits basketball team started their season on Tuesday playing Paradise on the road.
The Lady Panthers won 41-25 against a Lady Rabbits team with little practice time together coming right from volleyball.
Bowie comes into the season with three returning starters from last year and six players who were on varsity last year.
The first quarter was a close, low scoring affair as Paradise led 7-5. The Lady Panthers offense got going in the next two quarters, scoring 15 and 12 in the second and third.
Bowie continued to struggle scoring the ball until the fourth quarter, where the Lady Rabbits scored 11 of their 25 total points.
Unfortunately, it was not enough to come back against Paradise’s big lead as they won 41-25.
Ziba Robbins, Kayleigh Crow and Hanna Bell led Bowie with five points each. Varsity newcomer Parker Riddle was second with four points, while Allie Parr and Ella Richey each scored three points.
