Bowie chamber elects new 2015 officers
Bowie Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors elected new officers for 2015 at its Monday meeting.
Keith Mundee was announced as the new president. Patti Allen will be first vice president.
Treasurer will be Doyle Williams and Kristi Bates, second vice president/secretary. Michael Winter will serve as member-at-large, with Bryan Brown, past president. All these officers make up the executive board of the chamber. Read the full story in the Wednesday Bowie News.
A BOIL WATER NOTICE remains in effect for City of Bowie, TX water customers along Highway 81 from Parker Road to Old Bowie Lake. Affected customers should use bottled or boiled water for drinking, cooking, or brushing teeth. Results of water testing should be available shortly after noon today. If the testing is good, the BOIL WATER NOTICE may be lifted shortly thereafter
A boil water order was implemented Monday afternoon for the area served at U.S. Highway 81 from Parker Drive to Old Bowie Lake as water line repairs were made. The order remains in place today. If you are affected by this order and need bottled water call 940-977-4941.
