Jeneanne Fleming moves from the science classroom to the front office at Bowie Junior High School as she becomes assistant principal.
She takes over for Monte Sewell who took the position of principal at Chico Middle School.
For the 43-year-old Fleming it will be her first administrative job after 20 years teaching and coaching. She and husband of four years, Justin, have a daughter, Kylie, age 15 who will be sophomore at Bowie, and Kolton, age three.
A graduate of Weatherford Oklahoma High School, Fleming earned an associate degree at Western Oklahoma State University in Altus. She attended two years and played basketball at OSU. Fleming then went to Southwestern Oklahoma State University, where she left the basketball court to become an athletic trainer in football and basketball, along with helping at local high schools.

She had plans to become an athletic trainer, but decided that lifestyle may not be for her, especially if she has a family.

“It definitely has been an amazing experience thus far, and meeting all of the super inspirational figures in flesh and blood was definitely surreal,” Evans said.
