Cinderella Ball to support Nocona Meals on Wheels
The staff and volunteers of the Nocona Senior Citizens Center invited everyone to attend its major fundraiser, the second annual Cinderella Ball at 6 p.m. April 25 at the Veranda Inn in Nocona.
Tickets are $60 and includes a dinner featuring Tomahawk Pork Chops, an open bar and live band. This event is raising money for Meals on Wheels and organizers have set a goal of $60,000.
Meals on Wheels serves about 127 meals a day on its routes which runs about $276,000 a year to maintain. Only 20 of those people are sponsored by government funding. Call 825-3148 for tickets.
