MADILL – Elizabeth (Liz) Ann Price, 65, passed away on Sept. 8, 2026 at her home in Madill, OK.
A memorial service was at 10 a.m. Sept. 15 at the Watts Memorial Chapel, Madill.
The service was officiated by Todd McRay and the music was arranged by Jamie Carr. The service was under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill. The honorary bearers were Mason Waldrip and Coleton Price.
She was born on April 9, 1961 in Tishomingo, OK to Jimmy Cordell Bartee and Marilyn Green- Biggerstaff.
Liz married her high school sweetheart James Edward Price Jr. (Jim) on April 13, 1979 in Bridgeport. They were married for 45 years and lived most of their life in Montague on their farm.
Liz was an exceptional Licensed Vocational Nurse for 30 plus years, working in Wise County and Tractor Supply in Bowie.
She was of the Baptist faith and attended the First Baptist Church in Madill. Liz enjoyed watching her grandson Coleton play football, tending to the farm on her days off with her husband and she loved her animals.
Her greatest love was her kids, Cody Price and Courtney Waldrip-Price, and her grandkids. Liz was a dedicated daughter, mother, niece, grandmother and friend. She was loved by so many.
Liz is proceeded in death by her husband, James Edward Price Jr.; granddaughter, Madison Nicole Waldrip; grandson, Colby James Price; father, Jimmy Cordell Bartee; grandfather, James Jefferson Edward Green; grandmother, Silvia Rae Green; uncle, Royce Bartee and sister-in-law, RheeAnna Gage.
She is survived by her mother, Marilyn Green-Biggerstaff; sisters, Elaine Romines and husband Charles Romines, Jamie Carr, and Julie Casillas and husband Marty Casillas; brothers, Jim (Jimbo) Bartee and wife Kelly Bartee and Joe Bartee; son, Cody Price and wife Lory Price; daughter, Courtney Waldrip and husband Todd Waldrip; granddaughters, Morgan Waldrip, Chelsea Guevara and husband Bart Guevara, Chloe Billingsley and husband Justin Billingsley and Katie Turlington; grandsons, Coleton Price and wife Hailey Price and Mason Waldrip; and great-granddaughters, Amaya Guevara and Emmy Billingsley.

BOWIE – Ruby “LaNelle” Preuninger, 87, went home to be with the Lord on Sept. 10, 2026.
A memorial service took place at 10 a.m. on Sept. 18 at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie.
LaNelle was born on Jan. 31, 1939 in Bowie to Ewing LeRoy and Ruby LaRue (Archer) Long. She grew up in Bowie, attended local schools and graduated in 1957.
On Feb. 14, 1958, LaNelle married L.G. Preuninger in Bowie. Together, they built a loving life and raised two sons. Throughout her career, LaNelle served as a court clerk for both city and county judges.
LaNelle was a longtime and devoted member of Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as church secretary and taught Sunday school. She later joined her son at the First Baptist Church in Bowie. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she truly cherished her time at church and the opportunity to teach and share with others.
LaNelle found joy in the simple blessings of life. She and her husband enjoyed traveling together and she took great pleasure in sewing and crocheting. Most of all, she treasured time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be remembered for her faith, her devotion to family and the many ways she touched the lives of those around her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, L.G. Preuninger and brother, J.L. Long.
LaNelle is survived by her sons, Lynn Preuninger and wife Lenesa, Bowie, and Michael Preuninger and wife Darla, Saint Jo; grandchildren, Larry Preuninger and wife Erica, Bowie, Randall Preuninger, Bowie, and Lance Preuninger and wife Kenya, Canton; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, should friends desire, memorials can be made in honor of LaNelle to the First Baptist Church of Bowie Building Fund, 306 Cooper St. Bowie.

BOWIE – Teddie Mae Winsett Howell, 80, died on Sept. 3, 2026.
The family received friends from 4-6 p.m. on Sept. 5 at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie.
A funeral service took place at 2 p.m. on Sept. 6 at the First Methodist Church of Bowie with Reverand Jason Sutfin officiating. The burial followed at Elmwood Cemetery in Bowie.
She was born on April 10, 1946, in Bowie to James Fred (PaPa) Winsett and Iola Pearl (Ole) Reasoner Winsett. She graduated from Bowie High School in 1964. On May 21, 1965, she married Jack Howell Sr. in Bowie. She was a member of First Methodist Church of Bowie.
She is preceded in death by her father, Fred Winsett; mother, Iola Pearl Winsett; sister, Freda Pearl Winsett and a son-in-law.
Howell is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Jack Howell Sr.; children, Jack Howell Jr., Runaway Bay and Melissa Robinson, Bowie; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to First Methodist Church of Bowie.
