No quorum for St. Jo Council, meeting cancelled
The City of Saint Jo was expected to have a meeting last night to discuss matters pertaining to its police department.
However, the meeting never materialized because a quorum could not be established.
Only aldermen Tim West and Chris Stewart were present along with mayor Dustin Anderson, who can not count toward a quorum.
Executive session had been scheduled to cover personnel matters in the police department.

The following indictments were filed with the 97th District Clerk following the November session of the Montague County Grand Jury.
There were a total of 13 indictments with one sealed awaiting the arrest of a suspect.
A grand jury indictment is not evidence of guilt. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
