CHEERLEADING: Bowie High School fares well at NCA

The Bowie High School varsity cheer squad brought home technical excellence in motions award during the National Cheerleaders Association camp last week at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth.
The squad also earned a national championship bid and stunt safe award.
They were in the final evaluation for superior cheer and superior chant, and also received spirit sticks on days three and four of camp.
All-American nominees included Kylee Magee, mascot; Kylie Robinson, Kirstin Davis, Sierra Skinner and Emily Cox.
Magee received the mascot unity award and Co-captain Kylie Robinson received the individual captain leadership award.
Emily Moore, Molly Provost, Alex Sakel, Sierra Skinner, Jordan Thomlinson and Alexi Noetzelmann, Harley Bloxham, Emily Cox, Kylie Robinson, Kirstin Davis and Carcyn Robertson are the members of the high school squad, with Kylee Magee as the mascot.
