Nokona recognizes its long-time workers

Nokona, the iconic made-in-America brand, celebrates long-standing made-in-America jobs with a special luncheon honoring many of its longtime employees.
The company has been manufacturing gloves in Nocona, Texas since 1934. Helen Ulbig joined the team in 1962, and is still going strong 55 years later.
Ulbig began working with the company as an office clerk and in customer service, and she remains the cheerful face greeting customers at the factory retail store. The voice of Nokona with a Texas lilt for 55 years, Ulbig takes pride in her work and enjoys interacting with customers.
A celebration marking Ulbig’s remarkable achievement, as well as the company’s recognition of a total of 18 employees celebrating milestones ranging from 5-35 years working at the Nokona factory, took place on April 20 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church Parish Hall in Nocona. The event was attended by company employees, family and friends.
