Gold-Burg ISD loses its appeal in the state rating
The Texas Education Agency released the final 2014 state accountability ratings for more than 1,200 school districts and 8,500 campuses this week.
These final ratings are issued following an appeals process provided to districts that contested ratings originally announced in August. Gold-Burg ISD was the only district in Montague County to appeal its ratings, which was to no avail as the improvement required rating for the district and campus remained in place.
