Bowie Rotarians make changes to fundraisers

While the public health, public policy and businesses are working to respond to the impact of the COVID-19, so too must the professional members of the Bowie Rotary Club.
Following a conference call this past week, the board of directors made the decision to postpone the annual drawing of the prize auto due to the lack of human interaction and respect for the buyers who support our scholarship fund each year.
As most are aware, this fundraiser funds the majority of our annual scholastic scholarship program.
This year is not like any other and therefore the club members find themselves in unchartered waters and among numerous of those who need and will continue to need our financial support more than ever before; therefore this is the reason we want to continue to support our scholarship funds by extending the give-a-way date.
