Two vehicles were involved, but no one was injured, in this accident that occurred at 5:15 p.m. on Dec. 22 at the intersection of Pillar and Miller. Josh Wolfe investigated the accident that involved this 2003 Buick driven by Nelda Kirkland, 77, Bowie, and Peggy Raley, 56, who was driving a 2006 Chevrolet. The police report states Kirkland was traveling east on Pillar, while Raley was south on Miller. Both were approaching the intersection and collided. Kirkland told police that a pickup was parked on the side of the road on Pillar that blocked her view of the stop sign.
