7-on-7 tourney Saturday in Boyd
The Bowie High School football team will participate in a Texas State 7-on-7 Division II regional qualifying tournament today at Boyd High School.
The Jackrabbits have been placed in Pool C with Brock, Godley and Palmer. They will play on the new field.
Bowie will play Godley at 10 a.m., followed by Brock at noon and Palmer at 2.
Other pools are as follows.
Pool A: Boyd, Bells, Mineral Wells and Alvord; Pool B: Springtown, Tolar, Crandall and Liberty Christian; Pool D: All Saints Episcopal (Fort Worth), Episcopal, Gunter and Ferris.
The winners of the each pool will advance to the championship pool semifinals and finals.
Pool winners will be determined by head-to-head results and points scored and allowed.
