Board President Jacky Betts said after much deliberation the board was excited to share the news regarding leadership of the district. Dr. Hale currently serves as the assistant superintendent at Perryton ISD and previously led Miami ISD as superintendent. She brings more than 27 years of experience in education to the position.
“Hale has excelled in various roles, including teacher, principal, assistant superintendent, and superintendent. Her extensive experience and dedication to the field make her an exceptional choice for our district,” said Betts
In accordance with Texas law, a 21-day waiting period is required following the announcement of a lone finalist before the official hiring can take place.
