A 27-year-old Nocona woman reported missing by her family last Saturday evening was found deceased in a car accident the next morning near Saint Jo.
Haly Cay Holcomb was driving to her job at Winstar Casino early Saturday for a 6 a.m. start to her work day when the accident occurred. She was driving a Chevy Traverse east on U.S. 82.
Nocona Police Chief Kent Holcomb said Haly’s mother, Christi Holcomb, filed a missing person’s report with police at 6:58 p.m. on Jan. 23. On Sunday morning, she was found unresponsive in her vehicle that has went off the road and crashed into a heavily wooded creekbed three miles east of Saint Jo.
