The Bowie High School football team earned its first victory of the season as Kevin Stallcup scored on a 1-yard run in overtime to give the Jackrabbits a 41-35 victory at Jackrabbit Stadium.
Bowie was up 35-27 in the fourth quarter when the Bullfrogs mounted a late rally. Lake Worth scored first on a safety, and then Tray White completed a 16-yard TD pass to Tony Birch.
The Bullfrogs misfired on the extra-point conversion, and that sent the game into overtime.
Bowie’s Lawson Mickler connected with Chase Hall on a pair of touchdowns and one more TD pass to Jay Ward. Carter Shackelford added a 10-yard TD run for the winning Jackrabbits.
Bowie travels to Henrietta next Friday, with a 7:30 p.m. kickoff.

The Indians and Hornets were tied at 13-all heading into the second quarter when the Hornets poured it on with 27 points. Muenster added 21 more points in the third quarter.
