Missing woman found safe near Lake Nocona
Montague County Sheriff Marshall Thomas said his office, along with the Nocona Rural Fire Department and the Texas Game Warden have been searching for a woman wo was reported missing in the Oak Shores area of Lake Nocona. Thomas reported the woman was found hiding in a wooden area around lunch today. She was last seen at noon Monday.
No specific details were available at this time, but will be reported when they are released.
A BOIL WATER NOTICE remains in effect for City of Bowie, TX water customers along Highway 81 from Parker Road to Old Bowie Lake. Affected customers should use bottled or boiled water for drinking, cooking, or brushing teeth. Results of water testing should be available shortly after noon today. If the testing is good, the BOIL WATER NOTICE may be lifted shortly thereafter
A boil water order was implemented Monday afternoon for the area served at U.S. Highway 81 from Parker Drive to Old Bowie Lake as water line repairs were made. The order remains in place today. If you are affected by this order and need bottled water call 940-977-4941.
