A 40-year-old Bowie man has been arrested on a complaint of online solicitation of a minor, along with several other unrelated cases.
Scott Sheldon Lee was arrested on March 9 of complaints of evading arrest with a vehicle, failure to appear, expired registration, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and surety off bond-possession of a controlled substance one-four grams. Bonds totaled $39,662 and as of Monday he remained in the county jail.
Chief Deputy Jack Lawson said an additional complaint of online solicitation allegedly occurred two days after Lee was in jail, when he reportedly called from the jail phone to talk with a 16-year-old female and made inappropriate comments allegedly leading to the filing of an online solicitation case.
