Lady Rabbits fall to Boyd in three

The Bowie High School volleyball team suffered a three-set sweep on the road at Boyd Friday night.
Boyd outscored the Lady Rabbits 12-25, 17-25 and 18-25 despite eight kills from Mackenzie Gresham.
Ivy Dennis helped pace the Bowie offense with six kills and had two blocks, combined with two blocks from Kamryn Cantwell.
Landra Parr provided Bowie with 16 assists and nine digs, while Hope Howard registered an additional three kills.
The Lady Rabbits aren’t the only team struggling to overtake the Lady Jackets as they sit at 8-1 in the District 3A-8 slate after falling only to Holliday in an upset.
