OF NORTH AND CENTRAL TEXAS ON FRIDAY…
SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST WINDS OF AROUND 15 TO 20 MPH ARE EXPECTED TO
DEVELOP ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON A FEW GUSTS TO NEAR 25 TO 30 MPH WILL
BE POSSIBLE. WHILE SOME MOISTURE RETURN NORTHWARD WILL BE
POSSIBLE…FRIDAY AFTERNOON RELATIVE HUMIDITY WILL LIKELY REMAIN
BELOW 25 TO 30 PERCENT. VEGETATION ACROSS THE AREA REMAINS DORMANT
AND CONTINUES TO CURE WITH ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES. AS A
RESULT…THERE IS AN ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER THREAT ON FRIDAY.

Members of the Bowie City Council will meet in regular session at 6 p.m. on May 13 in council chambers.
The meeting opens with a proclamation for Emergency Medical Services Week.
