Rodeo ready for 62nd year
The 62nd annual Chisholm Trail Rodeo is set for Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Chisholm Trail Roundup Rodeo Arena on State Highway 59.
This will be an open rodeo, with increased prize money this year.
The events will be as follows: saddle bronc, tie-down roping, breakaway roping, team roping, barrel racing and bull riding.
There will also be a nightly junior barrel race jackpot for children ages 14 and under.
The festivities will open with mutton busting.
