LOCAL: Tennis fence damage at Bowie High

Violent weather on May 28 caused fencing at the Bowie High School tennis courts to be damaged. Bowie Independent School District chief financial officer Jonathan Pastusek said the district hasn’t put in a claim yet, and the school’s insurer has yet to visit and inspect the damage. School officials report the fencing will be repaired before the new school year begins on Aug. 24. (News photo by Eric Viccaro)
