Resident angry about road damage impacting postal service

Published

on

Appearing before the Montague County Commissioners on Monday, a resident on Rodgers Road in precinct one asked her commissioner when they could expect to have the “dangerous” road conditions repaired.

Sandra Jay asked for a place on Monday’s agenda to speak with Commissioner Herman Conway. The commissioner was present following a short stay in the hospital last week for heart problems.

Jay said there are three culverts on the road that are “caving in,” and the damage is almost to the middle of the road. She added they have not had regular mail service for three weeks and the trash company has indicated it may stop until the road is repaired. Read the full story in the mid-week News.
