Personnel action tops Saint Jo Council agenda

The Saint Jo City Council will meet at 6 p.m. Aug. 12 at city hall with a lengthy agenda scheduled.

The council will begin work on the fiscal year 2016 budget by setting workshops and hearings, and there will be an executive session.

The executive session will cover personnel issues. The agenda lists interim police chief Tyler Roy and public works director Marty Hilton under this item. An action for the possible hiring of a new chief and/or police officer also is listed.
