BASEBALL: Stallcup tourney begins March 10

The Bowie High School baseball team will play host to a second baseball event starting on March 10 with the Walker Stallcup Tournament.
There will be two tournament sites, both Bowie and Henrietta.
Bowie will play Graham at 3:45 p.m. on March 10, followed by a 6 p.m. game versus Childress.
Nocona plays here in Bowie on March 11 versus Childress at 9 a.m. and then Stephenville at 11:15 a.m.
Bowie also plays on the same day versus Springtown at 3:45 p.m. and then Holdenville, Okla., at 6 p.m.
Bowie takes on Pampa at 11:15 a.m. on March 12, and then Stephenville at 1:30 p.m. Nocona and Millsap square off on the same day in the tournament finale at 3:45 p.m.
The Indians play in Henrietta on the opening day, versus Burkburnett at 6 p.m.
A concession stand will be offered.
The tournament is named in honor of former Bowie High School athletic Walker Stallcup, who died in an auto accident back in June 2009 at the age of 16.
