Friends prepare annual spring book sale

Mark your calendar right now for the Spring Book Sale sponsored by the Friends of the Bowie Public Library on March 9-12.

This popular event will open at 1 p.m. in the Bowie Community Room. Come early for the best selections.

The sale schedule will be as follows: March 9, 1 to 6 p.m.; March 10, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; March 11, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and March 12, 9 a.m. to noon.

There will be paperbacks and hardback books in all categories. There also is a large selection of children’s books and DVDs that will be on sale.

Remember if you have books or items to contribute to this sale please bring them to the library before March 8.

Proceeds from the book sale go to projects at the Bowie Public Library.
