The Chisholm Trail Youth Rodeo saddle series will begin at 6 p.m. on March 26 at the Chisholm Trail Arena in Nocona.
The following also are dates and times for the series: April 3, noon; April 23, 6 p.m.; May 7, 6 p.m.; May 15, noon; and June 12, which will serve as the date for the finals.
Events are $10 each.
The slate features ribbon goats, goat tying, poles, barrels and goat roping, with age groups ranging from 8-under leadline, 8-under, 9-12 and 13-18 years old.
The age of the contestant is as of Jan. 1, 2016, and entrants must pay a $20 membership fee for each child.
The child must enter at least two events of the five rodeo dates to be eligible for a saddle.
The saddle will be given to one high point winner in each age group except for leadline.
