Nocona voters to decide on school bond Saturday

Nocona City Secretary Revell Hardison said Nocona drew 536 early voters for the city council and school bond elections.
Election day will be 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on May 7 at the city hall, 100 Cooke Street.
City voters are deciding on four candidates vying for three seats while NISD voters are considering a $15.1 million bond proposal that would build a new high school. A reminder to bring a photo ID to the polls. Watching bowienewsonline.com for election updates as they become available.

Brief agenda awaits city council

Members of the Bowie City Council will meet in regular session at 6 p.m. on May 13 in council chambers.
