CLIFF DIVING: Paredes garner’s men’s title

Mexican Jonathan Paredes was the winner of the men’s division at the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series this past weekend in Graham.
The event took place at Hell’s Gate at Possum Kingdom Lake.
Paredes scored 509.15 points, which also includes points for the degree of difficulty of the dives.
Blake Aldridge from Great Britain was second with 495.85 points, and the Czech Republic’s Michael Navratil was third. Defending champion Gary Hunt was fourth.
Australian wildcard Rhiannan Iffland was the women’s winner with 251.50 points, 10.4 points better than Cesilie Carlton. Helena Martin, another Australian, was third (236.80).
