BASEBALL: Rangers’ promotion is a history lesson

The Texas Rangers baseball club is offering “Baseball 101,” presented by Academy Sports and Outdoors.
The next class is set for 5:45 p.m. on Aug. 27 when the Rangers play the Cleveland Indians.
The class is free of charge with the purchase of a valid game ticket on that day.
Fans will participate in a lecture on team history, when the franchise arrived from Washington, DC in 1972.
This class will take a look back at the players, managers and moments in team history.
Email your interest in the event to: baseball101@texasrangers.com.
