OUTDOORS: Two arrested in Young County boating incident

Game wardens were patrolling Possum Kingdom Lake during the Independence Day weekend, working detail on water safety compliance.
Wardens stopped two personal watercrafts for safety inspections, and both operators were subsequently issued citations for not having successfully completed a boater education course.
As the subjects left, they quickly accelerated and sprayed each other with their watercraft.
Wardens then initiated their emergency lights and sirens to conduct a stop on the same subjects for reckless operation.
One subject stopped, while the other accelerated in the opposite direction.
Wardens issued another citation to the subject who stopped, and then law enforcement trailed him to the lake house.
The other subject later emerged from a lake house and was placed under arrest for reckless operation and evading arrest.
Both cases are pending, the TPWD reports.
