Luke takes softball post

Nocona High School athletic director Brad Keck has named Jenni Luke as the new softball coach for the 2018 season.
“I think she’ll do a good job,” Keck said. “She’s young and she’s passionate about the sport.”
Softball hasn’t fared with much success in recent years at Nocona, coming off consecutive winless seasons in district play under former coach Lindsay Barclay – who accepted a teaching position in Weatherford, Keck reported.
Nocona’s lone win during the 2017 season came against first-year program Era in the season opener; the Lady Indians dropped every game afterward.
