Bowie Lady Rabbits (left to right) Maylie Short and Callie Melton signed with Tabor College, a four-year private college in Hillsboro, Kansas, on Friday in ceremonies at Bowie High School. Short is the pitcher for the Lady Rabbits and Melton plays in the infield. Short, who plans to major in biology, said she chose the college because it felt like home. She enjoyed talking with the coaches and the players were very welcoming. Melton, who plans to be an athletic trainer, loved the college and small community.
