Montague Eagles kick off first football season

The Montague Eagles opened their first six-man football season against Victory Christian Academy at Gold-Burg on Thursday night. Despite the 36-18 loss, there was plenty of pride and excitement from fans, players and cheerleaders. Montague’s Michael Wetmore is pictured carrying the ball 46 yards for a touchdown on the very first carry for the Eagles. See more pictures inside the weekend edition of The Bowie News.
