Testers Line Up
Montague County continues to see a strong rise in its active COVID-19 cases with the Nov. 30 state report showing 128 active cases, 16 fatalities and 637 total positive cases.
Traffic has reportedly been sporadic at the state testing site located in the parking lot of Nocona General Hospital. Free testing is expected to continue through December. Visit gogettested.com to register for the test.
A BOIL WATER NOTICE remains in effect for City of Bowie, TX water customers along Highway 81 from Parker Road to Old Bowie Lake. Affected customers should use bottled or boiled water for drinking, cooking, or brushing teeth. Results of water testing should be available shortly after noon today. If the testing is good, the BOIL WATER NOTICE may be lifted shortly thereafter
A boil water order was implemented Monday afternoon for the area served at U.S. Highway 81 from Parker Drive to Old Bowie Lake as water line repairs were made. The order remains in place today. If you are affected by this order and need bottled water call 940-977-4941.
