Prairie Valley has hired a new girl’s coach earlier this week.
Mark Smith comes to Prairie Valley from International Leadership High School in Grand Prairie where he has worked as a math teacher for the past six years.
Prior to that, Smith was an assistant coach at Byron Nelson High School, as well as having stints as a head coach at Lake Worth High School and Itasca High School.
