Gold-Burg Independent School District officials investigated the report of a possible shooting threat Friday afternoon and determined it was not credible and there were no weapons on campus.
Superintendent Jonathan Lloyd said the staff initiated its safety procedures as soon as the report of a possible threat came to office Friday afternoon, related to comments reportedly made by a student on Monday.

The administrator explained the staff visited with the student reportedly involved and searched lockers, determining it was “not a credible threat of any kind,” said Lloyd.
