Commissioners to meet on March 10
Members of the Montague County Commissioner’s Court will meet at 9 a.m. on March 10 in regular session.
Only a brief agenda of seven items awaits the court. Following the consent agenda which includes minutes, bills and month reports, the 2025 Nationwide 457(b) deferred compensation plan will be considered.
A resolution will be offered by the district attorney to apply for the victim coordinator and liaison grant. The county also will consider an interlocal government cooperation contract and resolution with Nortex Regional Planning Commission for application and administration services for the local hazard mitigation plans program.
The City of Bowie reports an EXTREME HEAT WARNING will be in effect from 8 p.m. tonight until 8 p.m. tomorrow night. Please be careful.
