Montague County will see only 3 contested primary races

It appears Montague County will have three contested local races in the March 2016 party primaries, and all candidates will be running on the Republican ticket.
The deadline for filing arrived at 6 p.m. Dec. 14.
Mari-Kathryn Braswell, county Republican Party chairperson, said she received two more applications on Friday night for the precinct one commissioner race, but no more after that time.
There are no Democratic Party candidates filed for county races, all are running on the Republican ballot. There are fiving running for precinct one commissioner; two for district attorney; and two for county sheriff. See all the candidates in your mid-week News.
