Legend Bank releases moving schedule
Legend Bank has announced a moving schedule for its Bowie branch location as the bank sets up housekeeping in its new location next door.
The new building is scheduled to open on March 21. Branch President Bret Meekins said with the pending closure, the bank will be closing early to make the move.
It will close at 2 p.m. on March 18 and be closed on March 19.
It will open in the new location March 21 with motor bank hours starting at 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. for the lobby.
A formal grand opening is being planned in April.

A BOIL WATER NOTICE remains in effect for City of Bowie, TX water customers along Highway 81 from Parker Road to Old Bowie Lake. Affected customers should use bottled or boiled water for drinking, cooking, or brushing teeth. Results of water testing should be available shortly after noon today. If the testing is good, the BOIL WATER NOTICE may be lifted shortly thereafter
A boil water order was implemented Monday afternoon for the area served at U.S. Highway 81 from Parker Drive to Old Bowie Lake as water line repairs were made. The order remains in place today. If you are affected by this order and need bottled water call 940-977-4941.
