Commissioners will review routine items Monday

Published

on

Montague County Commissioners will meet at 9 a.m. Nov. 10 in the courthouse annex.

Monday’s agenda is filled with routine requests and annual items.

A public hearing will be set for the application to the Texas Community Development Block Grant Program.

The Montague County resolution for the Indigent Defense Grant Program also is up for approval.

The court will hear information on the county recognizing a three-year domestic pet rabies’ vaccine instead of the present one-year. This item was last reviewed by the court in 2003 when it stayed with the one-year vaccine.

City of Bowie has forwarded two bids for properties sold on a foreclosure sale within the city.

Commissioners also will review property entries for a fence line clearing and improvements to a cemetery entrance, plus three road crossing requests.

The monthly veteran’s service office report will be presented, and the court will change the Dec. 24 holiday to Dec. 26.
