Shots fired incident ends with no injuries, 1 jailed
While attempting to serve a warrant on a suspect at a home in Sunset this morning, a Montague County deputy was fired upon. It led to a standoff of a couple of hours until the man finally gave himself up to officers. Sheriff Marshall Thomas said his deputy escaped injury, but did return fire. The standoff ended with no injuries and Orville Throneberry was arrested. Read the full story in your weekend Bowie News.
