Santa Claus comes to Bowie this Saturday night during the 2019 Fantasy of Lights Christmas Festival.
This year’s lighted parade, set for Dec. 7, continues the 28-year-old tradition of one of the largest lighted holiday parades in North Texas.
Festival weekend opens on Dec. 6 with the popular Sip and Stroll With Me. Shoppers are invited to enjoy refreshments while checking out the many specials offered by the merchants.
Purchase armbands and glasses at any of the merchants for $10. Strollers may use a previous glass, but must have an armband. Get your arm bands early at the Bowie Economic Development Corporation building at the host location at 101 E. Pecan from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
