Nocona City Council adopts new nuisance definitions
Nocona city councilors amended language concerning what a public nuisance is during its Tuesday meeting.
Language was changed in the Nocona Code of Ordinances, Article 6.
“We added some definitions to the code,” Nocona City Secretary Revell Hardison explained.
Definitions were taken from the 2005 Texas Health & Safety Code, Chapter 342, which covers the local regulation of sanitation – essentially dealing with the policing of local properties and excessive junk.
