Prayer service to honor local law officers
The weekly prayer service conducted in Nocona each Thursday will honor all Montague County law enforcement officers this week.
Belinda Hendrix said the service will take place at 7:30 p.m. on July 14 at the Mary Beckman Davis downtown park. Officers from all the county law enforcement agencies have been invited.
The prayer service began a little more than a year ago to pray after Caleb Diehl went missing. Hendrix said while they continue to meet and pray for the teenager, they also reflect on other needs. The public is invited.
As North Texas finally transitions towards cooler temperatures, community water needs change as well.
