The Montague County Grand Jury returned 29 indictments in its Monday session including cases on a set of Bowie parents accused of child endangerment and two people charged with stalking.
District Attorney Casey Polhemus reported a total of 30 cases were examined with one sealed awaiting the arrest of a suspect and one case “no-billed.”
A grand jury indictment is not evidence of guilt. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
Amanda Jo Moore, 35, and her husband, Jeremy Doyle Moore, 45, Bowie, were indicted for child endangerment stemming from a May 3 offense involving their children. William Lee Partney was indicted for two case of stalking involving making lewd phone calls to women.
