Meyer Park reintroduction sees families enjoying changes

Dillon Steen, chairman of Beautify Our Bowie, was presented with a certificate from State Sen. Patrick Fallon honoring Meyer Park’s reintroduction party this past Saturday. Party guests at Meyer Park on Saturday enjoyed free hots and chips as they heard live music and saw all the beautiful painted benches and tables.

A BOIL WATER NOTICE remains in effect for City of Bowie, TX water customers along Highway 81 from Parker Road to Old Bowie Lake. Affected customers should use bottled or boiled water for drinking, cooking, or brushing teeth. Results of water testing should be available shortly after noon today. If the testing is good, the BOIL WATER NOTICE may be lifted shortly thereafter

Repairs prompt boil order

A boil water order was implemented Monday afternoon for the area served at U.S. Highway 81 from Parker Drive to Old Bowie Lake as water line repairs were made. The order remains in place today. If you are affected by this order and need bottled water call 940-977-4941.
