Subdivision rules public hearing set Aug. 16
Updated subdivision rules for Montague County will be presented in a 1 p.m. public hearing on Aug. 16 in the annex.
The commissioner’s court has been working on the rules since December. After a previous public hearing there were several questions that arose which the court wanted to address, so a second public hearing was scheduled.
A list of the proposed rules may be found on the county website at: co.montague.tx.us.
A BOIL WATER NOTICE remains in effect for City of Bowie, TX water customers along Highway 81 from Parker Road to Old Bowie Lake. Affected customers should use bottled or boiled water for drinking, cooking, or brushing teeth. Results of water testing should be available shortly after noon today. If the testing is good, the BOIL WATER NOTICE may be lifted shortly thereafter
A boil water order was implemented Monday afternoon for the area served at U.S. Highway 81 from Parker Drive to Old Bowie Lake as water line repairs were made. The order remains in place today. If you are affected by this order and need bottled water call 940-977-4941.
