The Bryson Independent School District formally approved hiring Bowie native Chelsea Kincaid at a recent board meeting.
This will mark Kincaid’s first job right out of college; she is a 2016 graduate from the University of North Texas with a degree in kinesiology.
“I applied at three different schools, and I interviewed at two,” said Kincaid. “I’m thankful and super excited. This month has been hard, but I’ve handled it really well.”
Chelsea’s father, Kenneth Kincaid, died in mid-April. So, it hasn’t been easy, especially when trying to open a new chapter in life.

Stark said because Kincaid’s mother, Machelle Mills, runs a day care facility it helped bring out Chelsea’s nurturing personality. Read more in the May 21 Bowie News.
